Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Vintage Electronics, The Homestead, Golf Links Lane, Selsey, West Sussex, PO20 9DP, United Kingdom. Together with the completed order form, these Terms and Conditions constitute the entire and only agreement. Our acceptance of your order by delivery of the goods constitutes a legally binding contract between us on these terms and conditions.
Prices & PaymentThe price payable for the goods you order is as set out on our website at the time you place your order plus any charges for postage and packing as outlined on the order form, or as advised by us, if outside the UK mainland. We must receive full payment for the goods you order, and any applicable charges for carriage, before your order can be processed.
We will deliver the goods in accordance with your order. A valid signature will be required on collection or delivery if the shipping method requires a signature. Immediately prior to despatch of the goods to you, title in the goods will pass to you. In the unlikely event that you have not received all the goods within 21 days of the date of delivery (or where you have requested a delayed despatch within 21 days of the requested despatch date), you must notify us immediately of any non delivery.
Overseas CustomersWe will deliver to your destination country but it is your duty to ensure the customs in your country will allow import of the goods purchased. I cannot be held responsible for goods held/ seized or returned by your country’s customs. In the event of a return, you the customer, are liable for the cost of inbound and outbound shipping. I will only refund the cost of the item purchased. If the goods are seized and not returned you are liable for the full cost. It is your duty to ensure the goods can enter your country.
No Fault Returns/ CancellationShould you wish to return your order you may return it to us within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. Outside of 7 days a handling fee may apply.
On receipt of the authorisation , you must return the goods to us at your cost unless the goods are being returned because they are faulty, incorrect, in which case we will meet the cost of return but we ask that you allow us to nominate the carrier. We also reserve the right to apply a handling charge if the goods or packaging are returned damaged, or with parts missing.
In order for us to process a return you must first contact us by phone or email for return authorisation. This will enable us to deal with the matter efficiently and promptly. We do not accept any returns without previous notifcation. It is your responsibility to make us aware of the return request. You must notify us within 2 days from date of delivery and it will be your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own cost and risk via an insured traceable method.
If purchased NOS (new old stock) the goods must be returned unused and in their original box and packaging including all manuals and accessories, if applicable. Unused means that the valves, components or any other products have not been used, installed or fitted to any device. Goods received back but incomplete with missing components and accessories will have the cost of the accessories charged to you. Goods received back in any condition other than as puchased will be returned back to you with you paying all return charges. We cannot offer any refund of carriage costs.
Faulty ReturnsIn such instances please contact us within 7 days from the delivery date. You will need to return the faulty item back to us for evaluation. Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault by our technicians you will be offered the following options:
1. A replacement – this item will be shipped to you at our expense.
2. A full refund – provided the item has been verified faulty and is complete with all accessories in its original box and packaging.
If the product is found NOT to be faulty by our technicians then you will be offered the following options:
1. Return of the goods – the cost of delivery will be charged to you.
2. Refund – the invoice cost, less any applicable delivery charges provided the product is as purchased and complete in its original box and packaging.
If the condition of the product or the packaging is poor then we reserve the right to impose a charge to cover re-packaging costs. Missing accessories will also be charged to you. The refund is at our discretion and we reserve the right to refuse a refund.
If you have notified us , in writing, of a problem with the goods, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor is it intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes).
If any part of these conditions is invalid, illegal or unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the validity, legality or enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected. This contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.
